Shelaghmichael serves as Executive Vice President of Compass’ Retail Banking Division. She reports directly to Compass’ CEO. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing, developing and implementing strategies designed to grow and increase the profitability and efficiency of the company’s retail banking operations which includes its more than 580 branch distribution system, alternative delivery channels such as personal computer and telephone banking, traditional consumer and small business credit and deposit products, mutual funds, brokerage services, marketing and all of the operations of Compass’ former Consumer Finance business unit. For the full-year of 2007, the Retail Banking Division (including the former Consumer Finance division) contributed total revenues of approximately $1.1 billion.
Compass Bank, Houston, Texas, 2007 - 2008
Executive Vice President of Compass’ Consumer Finance business unit and a member of the company’s Executive Management Committee and the Compass Bank Board of Directors. In this capacity, she was responsible for managing, developing and implementing strategies designed to grow and increase the profitability and efficiency of the company’s credit card business, debit card services, merchant services and the mortgage business throughout Compass’ six-state footprint. In addition, she also was responsible for the company’s extensive dealer financial services business that stretches across the southeastern and southwestern United States. For the full-year of 2007, Consumer Finance contributed total revenues of approximately $300 million.

President. Responsible for the strategic development and scalable implementation of this new business concept. Rediclinic owns retail health clinics in WalMart and HEB.
Telecheck International, Inc., Houston, Texas, 2004 - 2005
President and CEO. Led this $400 million mature payments business to significantly improved profitability and functional integration with First Data. Won the Fini Award from WalMart for most improved electronic payment processor.
JPMorgan Chase Bank, New York, New York, 1998 - 2002
Executive Vice President. Responsible for the nationwide consumer banking segment that included 3 million customers, 11,000 employees, 540 branches, $60 billion in deposits, 2,000 ATMs, and two telephone centers. Her primary responsibilities included the distribution strategy, marketing, quality and productivity of employees, sales results, customer satisfaction, capacity management, operations, technology and facilities.
Chase Bank of Texas (formerly Texas Commerce Bank), Houston, Texas, 1979 - 1997
Shelaghmichael spent 18 years with Chase Bank of Texas (formerly Texas Commerce Bank) in Houston. She began her career as a Vice President and Account Officer handling all aspects of the banking relationships for major commercial accounts, progressing from Account Officer to Division Manager. In 1988 she was promoted to Senior Vice President responsible for designing and executing the consumer lending strategy including credit policy, operations and processing, technology, compliance, collections and recovery and marketing. In 1997 she became Executive Vice President for retail banking including 103 branches, $10 billion in deposits, 3,000 employees, a call center, the consumer lending business, CRA and Fair Lending activities and Texas Commerce Mortgage.
